If you purchased parts from Diversified Machine Co, it’s likely you’re going to receive a warning letter from the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives:

Allegedly, per BATFE,  Diversified Machine Co was selling solvent trap kits and parts that could be turned into a fully working, unregistered, suppressor a little too readily for legal compliance.  BATFE has acquired Diversified Machine Co’s customer list and is sending out notifications to customers that they may be in possession of prohibited items.

If you have received such a letter do not stick your head in the sand and ignore it. A response is required.

It is best that you contact an attorney to respond.

If you already have an approved Form 1 or Form 4 for the suppressor the parts have been placed on, there is a simple response your attorney can make.

If you do not have an approved Form 1 or Form 4 for the parts you purchased, there is a different response that needs to be made.

Kendal Law Group regularly handles these sorts of matters and would be happy to assist you with your response.
